Italy need international help to close down Green Hill (Brescia - Italy)and have a ban on breeding dogs, cats and primates for vivisection in Italy.
On may 9th the senators of Commission n. 14 will present their amendments to the EU Directive on vivisection.
The vote is now on an article that is banning the breeding of some species for vivisection and the ban of experiments without anesthesia.
Vivisectors in Italy and all over the world are lobbying and they do not want any restriction to their work.
There is a strong battle at the moment and the pressure is really high, especially after the open liberation of 30 or more dogs on april 28th.
London activists will be doing a demo at the Italian Embassy on may 8th.
Please join the day of action with a demo on vivisection in front of
italian consulates and embassies in your country. the italian movement is fighting hard to close the biggest european dog breeder and have the first law banning the breeding of some species, which can be a spark for more changes in the future on a european level.

So we were having a benefit dinner for the anarquist book fair (May 25-27) the other night and then this conversation about doing some artwork for their band Inyanga came in. Still not the final product but I’m enjoying getting back to draw again…

….We’ve planned an intentional gathering as a group of vegan straightedge
grrrls*/gender queers because we feel that vegan straightedge is dominated
by bros, that we need to own xvx as ours, and to do so, we want to take
time to know each other and support each other. As grrls, making spaces
without bros and spending time with other grrrls just feels good,
especially grrls that share our xvx values, but
its hard to do when we are the minority in our scene. It is exciting to
think about the possibility of changing the xvx scene from feeling
alienating to a scene that represents, celebrates, and affirms who we are.
This is part of larger desires to eliminate patriarchy and other forms of
oppression from our lives.

It’s been awhile since I pick up a pencil, it’s even longer since I wrote a zine but it’s time to get back to those things and for now here’s some quick sketches..
When ignorance speaks louder, sometimes I need to say something.
theredwhiteandblues If you support animal testing then you don’t need to feel sorry for this or any picture of cruelty towards animals. Everything dies (humyn, animal or plant) but if a sick person dies is just because we are the ones who come with all these poisons and return to science to find cures for diseases that are in humyn bodies and not on animals. Yes (domestic) animals get sick because they are own and fed with chemicals and processed food that we gave them.
There’s no need to test on animals or humyns. If the law changes, I believe there would be a good number of people willing to be tested for terminal or “harder diseases”. Because you know, there are drugs studies where people get money for trying a new drug in the market.
I really like when (AR activists) compares an animal with a person and the public opinion don’t agree. But for testing anything that’s it’s ok because they have same diseases as humyns? Make up your mind are we or not similar?

There’s plenty of time now and I’ve been working on these hand draw posters for a future street attack. Just saving on spray paint and this way is more fun.This is just one of the many draws to come…did this one in english to share with you.
Tobacco is just one of the many products tested on animals.
If you smoke, you should take a look what you’re doing to these animals, because it could have been your pet.
I see the picture, feel bad, but then when they say it could be my pet I start thinking about having an Elephant for a pet, then I realize they are dogs and laugh even harder at myself. It kills humans and it kills animals. Life happens. I support animal testing as it is a necessity until humans offer themselves up to be mass tested on.
